The truth is, scientists actually have no idea how life was created.  They are literally clueless and it has nothing to do with the creation of amino acids in a pond, vent or other planet.  It’s about what happens next, once those amino acids are present.  In all the decades following the Miller Urey experiment, scientists have made nearly zero progress in this area.  You may see articles from time to time published by reputable sources touting major advances in explaining the origin of life but the reality is none of them come even close.  If you happen to watch other videos or read other material on this topic, watch for the hand waving and lack of facts and evidence for how inanimate chemicals and compounds make the jump to anything that resembles real life.

In the real world, scientists don’t know how life was created from inanimate chemicals and molecules but they also don’t want to publicly admit that. There are all sorts of reasons that we’ll get into elsewhere but, for now, suffice to say that we will recall the premise of this website and follow the scientific facts and evidence where ever it leads – eventually arriving at scientific proof God created the universe and life itself.

Here’s a video that begins to introduce this real world truth.  In it you’ll hear from renowned scientist James Tour as he makes the point that scientists have no idea how life started and have made no progress in the field since 1952.  Dr. Tour is a Professor of Chemistry, Computer Science, Material Science and Nano Engineering at Rice University.  He’s a synthetic organic chemist with more than 700 research publications, 130 patents, and many prominent awards including the Feynman Prize, NASA Space Act Award and Arthur C. Cope Scholar Award.  He was also named one of the top 10 chemists in the world by Thompson Reuters.

Watch 6 minutes of this video starting at 8:09 to 14:00.  This is a long video so concentrate on this much shorter section for now.  You’re free to watch the whole thing but we’ll get into much of it’s subject matter in subsequent articles so there’s no rush.  You can also watch for first 8 minutes in which Dr. Tour presents an overview of his research and the subsequent adoption of his inventions in the industrial world.  As noted above, he is exceptionally accomplished.

Diving Into The Cell For The Facts And Evidence

You may be thinking, “Yeah, there are all sorts of crazy people in the world.  Sure this guy has some credentials, but why should I believe him?”  Fair enough.  We’ll come back and hear more from Dr. Tour later.  In the meantime, let’s start looking for real facts.  To do that, we’ll start in the cell. Why?  Because the cell is the main building block of all life on earth so knowing how it was created will help explain how the rest of life was created.  As we dive into the cell, we’ll start with something at least somewhat familiar – DNA.  Get ready to be amazed!

Watch this truly astounding 6 1/2 minute video presenting one of the key roles that DNA plays in the cell – dividing to create new cells.  Don’t worry about all the jargon.  It won’t be on the test.  Instead, focus on all the micro machines that enable this process – all operating at a microscopic, cellular level.  As Dr. Tour pointed out, the cell is a factory.  These micro machines are the real, scientifically proven mechanisms that make it all happen.

Have you ever imagined that such unbelievable machines could be designed and operating at this level?  In every living cell, in every organism?

This is, indeed, mind boggling.  And awesomely cool!  This is just the first glimpse of God’s hand operating to create life.  We’ll get into the factual proof shortly.  For now, just marvel at God’s handiwork as seen in those microscopic machines.
